Our Story

Zehak Wellness was born in 2020, during the pandemic. Our founder, dealing with depression in 2018, discovered that mental health helplines shut down after 10 PM — exactly when suicidal ideation peaks. When COVID made everything bleaker, the response was action: onboard psychologists willing to offer free therapy sessions.

Clients booked but many no-showed, disrespecting the volunteer therapists. So Zehak started charging ₹450 per session — not to profit, but to filter out people who weren't serious. The business grew from that friction.

What We Stand For

We are an ethically solid brand that genuinely helps people. Revenue matters, but never at the expense of clinical integrity. We would rather lose a client than have a client who is upset because therapy didn't work.

We don't offer chat-based therapy. Ever. We don't hire psychiatrists. We are therapy-first. Quality over volume. Always.

Our Therapist Standards

Every therapist on our team is personally interviewed by the founder in a 30-minute session. We evaluate therapeutic process clarity, real-world case experience, language command, and views on queer clients. Hundreds apply. Single digits get through.

Client retention and satisfaction are reviewed every 3 months. Therapists who fail the review are removed. No exceptions.
